AMBASSADOR

Jesús Jiménez García is the Activity Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean in the Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV) department of the International Labor Organization. He is responsible for providing training courses to the trade union movements of Latin America and to facilitate their technical and trade union performances in the processes of national social dialogue, Decent Work Country Programmes, and in ILO international meetings. Previously, he was the Chief Technical Coordinator of the Regional Project ITC-ACTRAV on Social Security for Trade Unions. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences UCM.

Captain Lee Clarke is the General Manager of Isle of Man Maritime. With over 22 years of experience in the maritime industry, Lee has a passion for seafarer training, mentoring and Diversity and Inclusion, and has spoken at various industry events on these topics. Lee is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation, Ambassador for EYESEA & Seas Your Future and a Trustee and General Council member for The Seafarers’ Charity, among other significant positions within the maritime community and Isle of Man Government. Lee is committed to making a positive impact on the maritme industry and society, both locally and globally.
